Toshiba plans to increase sales of TFT-LCDs to outside customers by 50% during 2nd-half FY 1994. The company plans to begin supplying Apple Computer with LCDs during 1994 and is holding talks with other personal computer makers in the US over the possibility of signing supply agreements. At present, some 30% of Toshiba's TFT-LCDs are sold to outside customers.
