TOT seeks partner for fixed broadband service rollout

Thai state-owned operator TOT is in talks with four foreign telecom operators, including China Telecom, for a strategic partnership that would support the Thai operator's fixed-line broadband service rollout. These four foreign operators are two companies from China, one from Japan and one from Indonesia, local newspaper The Nation reports, citing TOT president Montchai Noosong. TOT currently has 1.3 million fixed-line broadband service subscribers.
