TPG Telecom's Felix brand launches ' carbon neutral' subscription phone plan

Australian operator TPG Telecom has commercially launched its ‘Felix’ telecommunications services brand, powered by 100 percent renewable energy. The Felix service is also certified carbon neutral and digital-only. Felix offers a “carbon neutral” subscription phone plan with speeds of 5 Mbps for a monthly fee of AUD 35. The Felix service uses Vodafone’s 4G/3G network.

The plan also includes unlimited voice calls and SMS to Australian numbers. The service automatically renews for AUD 35 every month, and is available with no lock-in contract, which allows users to pause their plan whenever they want, Felix Mobile said.

Felix customers can also activate add-ons

Optional add-ons include Endless International Calls and Text for AUD 5 per month, which allows customers to make calls and send SMS from Australia to over 40 selected countries; and International Roaming for AUD 20 to use over 365 days. This option offers 4GB of data at speeds of up to 5Mbps, 100 standard minutes and 100 standard SMS to keep users connected when they are on holiday in over 40 countries.
