TPG to write down assets after cancelling mobile network launch

TPG Telecom announced the accounting implications arising from its decision to cease its Australian mobile network rollout, as announced on 29 January. The decision is the result of Australian government's ban on the use of Huawei equipment in 5G networks. Huawei was selected to power TPG's upgrade to 5G.
