Trade associations to lead lawsuits against net neutrality

Telecom trade associations are expected to take the lead in suing the Federal Communications Commission over its net neutrality regulations, several people familiar with the plan told Reuters. Individual operators such as Verizon will hold off on filing lawsuits, in favour of allowing industry groups to handle the case. At least three such groups are planning lawsuits, according to the report: CTIA-The Wireless Association, the National Cable and Telecommunications Association and the broadband association USTelecom.
