Trade unions condemn SFR over 'partial unemployment' scheme

Two trade unions representing SFR employees in France have urged the telecom operator to rethink its decision to apply for a large proportion of its workforce to be placed under the government's 'partial unemployment' scheme, brought in to support the economy in the Covid-19 lockdown. They are calling on management to follow the example of Orange and act in the spirit of national solidarity during the current crisis.
