Trump administration to take aim at net neutrality rules

US President Donald Trump said his administration will, after Congress voted to repeal broadband privacy rules, now look to reverse the net neutrality rules introduced under former President Barack Obama, the New York Times reported, citing White House spokesman Sean Spicer. The rules, approved by the FCC in 2015, aimed to preserve the open internet and ensure that it could not be divided into pay-to-play fast lanes for internet and media companies that can afford it and slow lanes for everyone else.
