At Mobile World Congress (MWC), Truphone announced that their Apple SIM data plans will be available via Apple Pay for the first time. This will give customers quicker, contact-free access to 4G data purchased directly from their iPad.

The Truphone Apple SIM plans were launched in 2017, offering up to 3 GB data straight from a customer's iPad without the need to sign a contract. The data plans can be used for up to 30 days in up to 40 countries once purchased. The Apple Pay functionality will be added to all current Truphone Apple SIM markets from March, allowing customers with an Apple Pay-enabled iPad to buy data without having to enter credit/debit card details.
