Truphone picks Affirmed Networks for vEPC

Affirmed Networks announced that it has been selected to provide a virtualized Evolved Packet Core (vEPC) to Truphone. As Truphone's roadmap covers geographical expansion and support for additional technologies such as Voice-over-WiFi (VoWiFi) and 5G, Affirmed Networks' virtualized mobile packet core is expected to help evolve their existing capabilities while securely scaling on a single platform. To further enhance their service assurance capabilities, Truphone will also deploy the Affirmed vProbe solution, for real-time network intelligence across the virtualized infrastructure. With
