Tumblr planning Dutch version
Blog services provider Tumblr plans to launch services a Dutch version of its services on 31 May. The platform has been in operation in the US since 2007. In the Netherlands, the service is mainly used by early adopters, according to Dutch Cowboys. The provider hopes to attract a larger audience with an official Dutch version. Founder David Karp will participate in the launch, the report said.

Tumblr announces version in Portuguese

The blogging platform Tumblr has just released versions in Brazilian Portuguese and standard Portuguese. The site can now be accessed in eleven different languages. The announcement was made on 21 May by the official Twitter profile. To celebrate, the team tweeted in the two languages and is preparing for events in Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo.

Tumblr, aanbieder van blogdiensten, zal aan het eind van deze maand, op 31 mei, een Nederlandse dienst. In de VS is het platform sinds 2007 actief.
