Tunisia implements mobile money interoperability

Tunisia's mobile users are now able to send and receive money across the payment platforms of the country's three main networks, Tunisie Telecom, Orange and Ooredoo, reports Agence Ecofin. This interoperability is part of a wider project that will progressively cover all services from bank and postal accounts during the first half of the year. Part the Digital Tunisia 2020 strategy, the project has been managed by Tunisia's central bank and finance ministry, in collaboration with Monetique-Tunisie.
