Turk Telekom makes live game broadcast over 5G with 360-​​degree cameras

Turk Telekom announced what it calls the first 5G live basketball game filmed using 360 ​-degree VR cameras. Those who experienced this with VR glasses in Turk Telekom Umraniye Tecknopark watched the competition as if they were at the match, the company said. The broadcast was transmitted in 4K resolution via the live 5G test network established by Turk Telekom with Huawei. The 360-degree cameras were provided by the local design software firm Garage Atlas.
