TV still dominates content viewing in the Netherlands - GfK

Television still dominates in the Netherlands when it comes to viewing audiovisual content, with 78 percent of all viewing time spent with the TV, according to the Moving Pictures reported by Intomart GfK, conducted for SKO among 13,000 Dutch people aged 13 or older. Around 12 percent of all viewing time went to user-generated content. Of respondents owning a PC, 52 percent said they sometimes watch video content. For owners of smartphones and tablets, the percentages are at a respective 42 and 34 percent. Around 42 percent said they watch video content from their PC every day, against 15
