Twilio implements call authentication protocol for enterprise calls on its plaform

Wednesday 8 April 2020 | 16:17 CET | News
Twilio said it has implemented measures to authenticate enterprise calls on its platform, to ensure end users receive calls from trusted sources. The process, which started in the US but which will be expanded during the course of next year, complies with the Stir/Shaken protocol. Once the protocol is fully implemented among the rest of the telecom industry, Twilio will be able to verify customer calls received on the its platform, providing consumers with the information necessary to decide whether to answer the call or not.
