Twitter inks multi-year live-streaming deal with NFL

Twitter and the National Football League (NFL) said they have a signed a multi-year agreement, with Twitter selected as an exclusive partner for the live OTT digital streaming of Thursday Night Football, a 30-minute show, to a global audience across devices and for free during the course of the 2016 NFL Regular Season. Under the deal, Twitter will stream the 10 Thursday Night Football games broadbast by NBC and CBS, which will also be simulcast on the NFL Network. In addition to the live streaming, Twitter will also have access to in-game highlights from TNF as well as pre-game Periscope
