Twitter to clarify rules, take more proactive stance against abuse and spam

Twitter, which last year suspended over 70 million suspicious accounts in order to make its service more safe, said it has continued taking action against abuse and spam. The company said it has taken a more proactive stance against abuse, in addition to relying on user reports. In June, it will also start testing ways people can have more control over their conversations, such as giving them the option to hide replies to their Tweets.
