Twitter to flag tweets deleted for user violations

Thursday 18 October 2018 | 11:54 CET | News
Twitter announced changes to its policies for taking down tweets that violate its user terms. Going forward, once it's required a user to delete a tweet, a notice will be displayed stating that the tweet is unavailable because it violated the Twitter rules, along with a link to the rules and an article with more detail on how the rules are enforced. This notice will be displayed on both the account's profile and the specific tweet for 14 days after the tweet is deleted.
