Two-thirds of EU countries still without new telecoms code legislation

Only nine EU countries have adopted the new Electronic Communications Code, regulating telecom and online communication services. The code was meant to be transposed into national law by all EU members by the end of 2020. As a result, the European Commission has started formal infringement proceedings against 18 countries.
