U Mobile expands BSS partnership agreement with Ericsson

Ericsson has extended its partnership with Malaysian mobile operator U Mobile to transform the Malaysian company's Business Support System (BSS) into an industrialized, real-time converged environment. Initially signed in 2012, the partnership has now been extended for another five years until 2022. Under the terms of the expanded contract, Ericsson will be in charge of competence development, service design, deployment and systems integration of the convergent billing platform, as well as managed services.
