UEFA working on own OTT service

European football governing body UEFA is developing its own over-the-top (OTT) service focused on streaming content other than its Champions League and Europa League competitions, reports website Palco23, citing UEFA marketing director Guy-Laurent Epstein. The aim is to concentrate on women's, indoor and grassroots competitions, which don't currently have the visibility of the men's game, said Epstein, stressing that there's no intention of competing with the major TV broadcasters.
