UK allowed to continue EU transfers of personal data under interim deal

Organisations can continue to transfer personal data between the UK and EU after 01 January. According to the preliminary trade agreement struck by the UK government with the EU for the period following its exit from the bloc, the current regulatory regime will remain in place for up to six months, until new decisions on the adequacy of the UK's protection of personal data are adopted.
