UK appoints Cyber security envoy to the US

The UK has appointed Andy Williams as a cyber security envoy to help British small businesses and first-time exporters promote their business interests across the US. He will be based at the British embassy in Washington to help boost UK-US cyber security deals. Williams leads the Cyber Connect project of industry association techUK. The appointment is part of a range of new government and private sector announcements made in relation to the US visit of Prime Minister David Cameron, accompanied by a group of twelve UK cyber security firms.
