UK, Australia launch joint investigation into Clearview facial recognition app

The UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) have launched a joint investigation into the personal data handling practices of US technology company Clearview AI, provider of facial recognition software.
