UK banks in talks for Apple Pay in first half 2015 - report

The UK's biggest banks are in talks with Apple to introduce the Apple Pay contactless payment service in the first half of 2015, people familiar with the matter told the Guardian. Negotiations between Apple and at least one bank have been difficult due to differences over the terms, including the data Apple will be able to access. It is understood that the bank is not comfortable with the amount of customers' financial and personal information Apple wants to collect.
