UK consumer multiplay demand is rising - CCS Insight

More than 65 percent of UK multiplay homes value their broadband access more than their pay TV service, according to a survey by CCS Insight of 1,000 UK decision makers for media and telecom purchases in the home. The research shows a clear appetite for multiplay services. Around a third of respondents said they were already paying for bundled services and another 40 percent said they would consider signing up for one. They cited better value and convenience as the two most important factors. CCS Insight expects further consolidation as certain in the next year, driven by the ability to offer
