UK Defense Secretary has 'grave, deep concerns' about Huawei, GCHQ warns for 'hysteria'

UK Defense Secretary Gain Williamson said he had "grave, very deep concerns" about Huawei providing 5G networks in the UK and that this was something the government had to "look at very closely," the Times reported. Williamson said the UK should examine the possibility of security threats should Huawei be the one upgrading services to 5G. "We've got to look at what partners such as Australia and the US are doing in order to ensure that they have the maximum security of that 5G network and we've got to recognise the fact, as has been recently exposed, that the Chinese state does sometimes
