UK govt considering setting up internet regulator - report

The UK Government is considering setting up a new internet regulator to combat online social dangers, according to details of proposed new legislation obtained by BuzzFeed News. They are also looking at introducing age verification for users of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The draft legislation will be published for consultation later in 2018.
