UK govt consults on post-Brexit data protection reforms

The UK government has announced plans for a post-Breixt data reform to protect the public and boost innovation and growth. The reform of the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) will create a new data regime "based on common sense", with tougher penalties for nuisance calls and text messages.
