UK govt digital plan puts focus on networks, education

The government has published its latest Digital Strategy for the United Kingdom, outlining its plans for stimulating an inclusive digital economy and announcing a planned investment of over GBP 1 billion for accelerating the development of next generation digital infrastructure, including full fibre and 5G. The document noted that the government earlier outlined a plan for post-Brexit Britain, saying it wants businesses to invest in the economy for the long term.
