UK introduces new national security rules for technology takeovers

New merger and takeover rules have come into force in the UK which aim to strengthen the government's powers to vet mergers and takeovers that may raise national security concerns. The new rules apply to companies developing military and dual-use technology, computing hardware and quantum technology.
