UK ISPs call for closer checks on Openreach fibre access

ISPs in the UK have called on the government to monitor wholesale network operator Openreach more closely, in order to ensure competition and support the roll-out of fibre. Network operators have written to the culture secretary, Jeremy Wright, and Ofcom head Sharon White calling for an "early warning system" to stamp out anti-competitive behaviour, the Sunday Times reported.
