UK ISPs KCom, Post Office hit by global botnet attack

A number of UK ISPs have been hit by the attempted global botnet attack that also affected nearly 1 million customers at Deutsche Telekom. A spokeswoman for the Post Office told the BBC that the problem began on 7 November and had affected about 100,000 of its customers. Talk Talk also confirmed that a "small number" of its customers had been affected, and it was working on a fix. Hull-based operator KCom said about 10,000 of its customers had been affected since 26 November. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, which both Deutsche Telekom and KCom said was part of a worldwide
