UK needs innovative approach to spectrum to fully exploit 5G - research

The launch of 5G is an opportunity for the UK to move beyond a one-size-fits-all spectrum policy which has left many rural areas, residents, transport corridors, factories and businesses without coverage, according to a new report from the University of Surrey and partners from the UK 5G Testbed and Trials programme.
