UK Post Office to shut down mobile service on 08 August

The UK Post Office announced that it will close down its mobile service on 08 August. It has operated a PAYG mobile service online and in 11,600 branches since June 2015. However, it has now decided to terminate the service because it could no longer justifying in the service at a time when the Post Office is investing to modernise its branches. It is no longer possible to order a new SIM card or replacement SIM, and customers will no longer be able to buy UK bundles from 24 May. They will also be unable to top up or add any credit after 22 June, and will need to use up remaining credit
