UK smartphone users keen on using rich messaging service

In the UK, nearly 80 percent of smartphone users currently use OTT services, according to survey carried out on behalf of mobile messaging company Acision by research firm Vanson Bourne. About 76 percent of these smartphone users currently admit to using multiple messaging services to contact friends, families and colleagues, while 78 percent would be keen to try a rich messaging service such as the GSMA's rich communications service (RCS), Joyn.
