Monday 13 July 2020 | 08:53 CET | News
The UK government is set to announce on 14 July a deadline of 2025 for mobile operators to remove Huawei equipment from their 5G networks, local papers report. Conservative MPs have pushed for a shorter deadline of 2023, the Telegraph reported, while operators are expected to ask for longer. The Sunday Times said Huawei is also seeking a meeting with the UK Prime Minister to discuss a longer deadline.
