UK, US agree deal for social media firms to share encrypted messages - report

The UK and US governments are set to sign a new treaty which would force US-based social media platforms, such as Facebook and WhatsApp, to share their users' encrypted messages with UK police, reports Bloomberg citing an unnamed source familiar with the matter.
