Uninor grows Q3 revenues 38%

Indian mobile operator Uninor reported revenue growth in local currency of 38 percent for the third quarter, on a growing customer base, higher ARPU and expanded network coverage. Parent company Telenor reported revenues for the Indian subsidiary of NOK 1.074 billion, up from NOK 729 million a year ago. The adjusted EBITDA loss was little changed at NOK 136 million, as the operator stepped up network roll-out. Capex jumped to NOK 997 million in the quarter, with 3,100 new sites added.
