Uninor offers free access to Wikipedia from mobile devices

Indian mobile operator Uninor is offering free access to Wikipedia for its internet subscribers on their mobile devices. With this offer, Uninor internet service subscribers will be able to access Wikipedia with no data charges. With the introduction of free Wikipedia and other similar services to be introduced in the future, Uninor plans to have 50 percent of its users connected to the internet by 2017. The free access to Wikipedia will be available for three months starting 1 April.
