Uniti finalises USD 100 mln sale of LatAm tower portfolio to Phoenix

Uniti Group, formerly Communications Sales & Leasing (CS&L), has announced the completion of the sale of its towers business in Latin America to an entity controlled by Phoenix Tower International for the equivalent of around USD 100 million in cash. At closing, Phoenix will acquire approximately 500 towers located across Mexico, Colombia and Nicaragua. Uniti previously said the transaction would allow it to focus on communications infrastructure growth opportunities in the US.
