Mobile game developer Unity Technologies has announced an enhanced partnership with Chinese device maker Xiaomi. Under the terms of the agreement, Unity developers will have unparalleled access to Xiaomi's MIUI app store, plus distribution support in negotiating local licensing terms starting next year. Developers will also be in a position to enable Unity Ads, the first ever third party ad network on any Chinese Android app store.
Additionally, Unity IAP will extend support to the Xiaomi platform so developers can port their in-app purchases directly to the Xiaomi app store. Unity Technologies will collaborate closely with Xiaomi to further extend technological innovations to their expanding open VR platform.
