Unitymedia increases revenue 7% in Q2

Unitymedia reported an increase in revenue in second quarter of 7 percent to EUR 538 million. The German operator said growth came from higher cable subscription revenue, driven by an increase in ARPU and growth in subscribers. Unitymedia delivered 7 percent adjusted EBITDA growth for Q2 as well, to EUR 337 million, while the net loss narrowed to EUR 1.1 million from EUR 29.9 million a year ago. Capital expenditure reached 25 percent of revenue in Q2 and is expected to reach 25-27 percent over the full year 2015. The extra investment will go in part to certain trial network expansion
