Unitymedia launches gigabit broadband service in Frankfurt

German cable operator Unitymedia announced the launch of its gigabit broadband services in Frankfurt. Around 380,000 households, or about 90 percent of all Frankfurt households, can order the service at up to 1 Gbps.
