Univision, Televisa to merge content development, production

Mexican media conglomerate Grupo Televisa and US Spanish-language network Univision Holdings have announced a plan to expand their relationship by unifying their content development and production efforts. As part of the initiative, Univision's chief news, entertainment and digital officer Isaac Lee will assume the role of chief content officer of both companies, effective immediately. He will continue to directly report to Randy Falco, president and CEO of Univision, and will also now report to Emilio Azcarraga Jean, president of Televisa.
