Up to 15 funds interested in TIM-Open Fiber venture - report

Up to 15 infrastructure funds have been sent a confidential dossier on a proposed fixed broadband tie-up between Telecom Italia (TIM) and wholesale provider Open Fiber, according to unnamed sources cited by Italian daily Il Messaggero. Funds including Italy's own F2i and Australian investment bank Macquarie have received a dossier drawn up by advisors including Rothschild, Vitale, JP Morgan, Unicredit and Mediobanca that values 100 percent of Open Fiber at EUR 3 to 4 billion, said the report.
