UPC Austria launches mobile plans

Austrian cable operator UPC launched Sim-only MVNO services on the Drei network. The new network with the prefix 0678 offers two tariffs without handsets. The cheapest option 'UPC Mobile Plus' for EUR 14.90 includes 1,000 minutes, 1,000 SMS and 1.5 GB data at up to 2 Mbps, for EUR 19.99 per month. The tariff 'UPC Mobile Super' includes 2,000 minutes, 2,000 SMS and 3 GB data with 4 Mbps. Subscribers who are not already UPC customers pay activation fees of EUR 69.
