UPC Switzerland wants to cut 10% of its workforce

Saturday 22 February 2020 | 18:04 CET | News
UPC Switzerland wants to cut around 10 percent of its workforce, Handelszeuting reports. This means that it could cut 160 jobs. A spokesperson said the company will try to eliminate jobs  through "natural turnover, and measures such as internal changes or early retirement wherever possible." UPC will make an effort to keep the number of layoffs as low as possible, the spokesperson added. However, the company "cannot avoid the layoffs," they said.
