UPC, Ziggo yet to align business market strategies

The business divisions of Dutch cable operators Ziggo and UPC are still focusing on very different propositions since the companies' merger. UPC pushes its offer of very fast internet for a low price, while Ziggo is focusing on its multi-play packages, according to research by Telecompaper. UPC Business' marketing campaigns in the past half year were driven by its standalone broadband offer, promoted as the cheapest offer for super-fast internet. It offers 120 Mbps for EUR 40 per month, targeting SMEs and self-employed people with no need for TV or a fixed line. Ziggo meanwhile held a number
