Uruguayan govt inks cloud-based innovation deal with AWS

The Uruguayan government said it has signed an agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) promote innovation in the country based on cloud services. Under the Memorandum of Understanding signed by industry minister Omar Paganini and AWS general manager Jeffrey Kratz, the partners pledged to promote innovation and economic development in Uruguay through the use of cloud computing services for the benefit of public and private institutions to promote digital transformation, talent and new digital services.
