US adds more Chinese firms to export blacklist in response to minority repression

About 28 new Chinese companies have been added to the US export blacklist in a reaction by the US government to China's repression of Muslim minorities, the Wall Street Journal reported. The move comes days before high-level trade talks resume in Washington between the US and China. The US said however that the latest blacklisting was not related to those trade talks.
